On the cusp:

Am I missing anything?

The OP may be a LeBron "hater" since this selection is so obvious to me.

LeBron is on the verge of capturing his 3rd MVP.

If he retired today, he surely would go into the HoF IMO!

Ray Allen is the best shooter of all time of all around players (not one dimensional role play shooters)

If the Spurs win the title this year it will me tough to put many players above him other than Jordan

Ray Allen deserves to be in because he was the best shooter ever ever.

Every MVP has gotten into the hall of fame. Lebron has two, so I say he's in even if he retires tomorrow. His PER and regular per-game stats also measure in close to the top anyway.

That being said, there's one interesting MVP winner who might break this trend-- Allen Iverson.

I hope you are kidding about McGrady. The guy scored but that was it. Never lead a team on any type of real playoff run. Joe Johnson is hall of good but no way hall of fame. Win a few playoff series

I wouldn't mind Manu Ginobli going in. He never had the crazy good stats but has been instrumental on numerous playoff runs and championships.

Funny, as I was reading this I thought his name would have been mentioned. I watched the Laker/Spurs game tonight and he rocked.

With his international accomplishments (Argentina gold medal, etc) and 3 rings he's got to be HOF

You guys think if Lebron retired right this moment he's in the Hall of Fame?

I don't see that one.

Manu is a LOCK. You guys are aware that the HOF, includes all basketball, not just NBA performance. Manu on his international skills alone makes it.
